considering the price of this book, i was thoroughly disappointed. in fact i returned the book. aside from a few sentences there is absolutely no information on Powerpoint e.g. creating macros and add-ins for Powerpoint which doesn't even have the ability to keep macros in a template file would have been enormously beneficial. The quality of the VBA code is not particularly good either e.g. the FindLinks macros for Excel lacks the ability to search for external links in all the possible places one could find links. A much more thorough treatment of external links can be found for free at http://www.officevba.com/features/1998/06/vba199806dr_f/vba199806dr_f.asp including downloadable add-in or VBA.
And finally, the authors website (www.expertcompanion.com) is a single page with no content at all.
Having said that, the author does have quite a bit of other stuff on Excel. Although this seems to be a re-hash from his previous books on Excel!!! The price is also steep.
My advice would be: if you have a specific problem then try to find a solution on the www and if that fails, then consider buying this book.
