Product Description

Product Description

This is a cycling guidebook. "Off Road Trails and Quiet Lanes in the Lakes and Dales" covers twenty new cycle rides exploring the best traffic-free lanes and off-road trails of two of Britain's most cycle friendly national parks. Ranging from 5.5 to 23km in length, some routes stick to quiet roads while others tackle rocky mountain bike trails as they explore hidden valleys and climb to stunning viewpoints. Never too long, too difficult or too remote, the rides are great fun and challenging for cyclists of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a keen rider or an enthusiastic family member, these rides are your route to exploring two of Britain's greatest national parks. This is a guide to introduce people to cycling at a manageable level. Ridden and written by local riders, these rides are clearly described using step-by-step instructions and feature original maps, route profiles and local area information.
