4.0 out of 5 stars Stunning debut album. 11 Feb 2014
By Hengist
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
It's late 66/early 67; Cream and Love have collaborated to create an LP, and this is the result. Dr Who has then picked it up in the Tardis and transported it to the present day.
It's kind of like the opposite of Wooden Shjips, but in a good way: short, spiky, speed fueled tracks, with crystal clear vocals, harmonies, instrumentation, and tempo changes. 4.5 stars does it justice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant debut 3 Aug 2013
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Ever since hearing this Scottish band on a 'Shindig!' magazine cover-mount CD several years ago, I've been eagerly awaiting a full album from them. Finally it's here... and an excellent LP it is! They effortlessly glide from one style to another, often several times within the same song! If that sounds messy or disjointed, believe me, it isn't! They are indeed 'masters' of psych-pop with great melodies/pop hooks/subtle instrumentation and a sense of drama, accompanied by clever and evocative lyrics. A brilliant debut indeed!

If I was a psych blog reviewer/slash retired writer in the sun, I couldn't have said it better. This album is the truth this year. It never gets old, ever. It's pure liquid, always transforming and evolving into exactly what you need, when you need it to do so. Hey Thank You Hidden Masters for being absolutely surreal/epic. I greatly appreciate this timeless peace of psych tapestry woven oh so taught with the thread that bounds endless dimensions, chock full of constants and variables. Cheers mates!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS CREAM AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! 29 Nov 2013
By J. H. Infante - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is Cream!!!!!! , Hidden Masters are really gifted musicians , they are the real rebirth of Cream in every sense, and this is not all , along with the coordinated vocal hamonies with snap fingers sound that give the impression of a late 60s recording (Cream again), delicious riffs and an impressive balance between bass and drums (as Cream) they are capable to perform suddenly Sabathesque instrumental interludes!!!!! this guys!!!!!! who doesnt look metal at all , they can play heavy in a surprising way, lets see how the sophomore effort amaze us.
