Product Description

While on a top secret mission to deliver a shadowy international terrorist to American authorities, the crew of a nuclear submarine, along with a young female octopus expert, faces a living nightmare when the ship passes through a Bermuda Triangle-like portal known as the Devil's Eye. It seems that over a dozen other ships and subs have mysteriously vanished in this vicinity. Might it have anything to do with the giant carnivorous cephalopod roaming the area?

...but what did you really expect? Yes, the acting's tragic and the plot has been done forty billion times before but I think the other reviewers have been a little too scathing. It's not on the same level as Shark Attack 3 (which is genius) but there are parts of this film which are so bad they force a smile. Considering some studio probably budgeted for this with spare change, the octopus doesn't look too bad - although watching barrels rolling down a reef is somewhat less convincing.

It gets a two from me because if you expect anything more than a one, you're stupid. It certainly isn't the worst film ever.

This is a message to people out there who work hard for their money and are thinking about buying this boot polish, dont waste any of your hard earned money because this film is utter rubbish!.
This film has bad dubbing, poor acting, lousy effects and also looks like it cost about as much as a bag of grade B peanuts.
the 'film' is based on a crew set out to sea in a submarine holding on board a mass murderer, then about half the way through the 'film' a giant octopus comes into the scene (by the way, the octopus looks like a giant paintball).
this film wasnt even worth rating a 1 star but their wasnt anything below one star.
the hollywood DVDS are usually pretty crummy but this film is as low as they can go.

Octopus 9 Feb 2005
Format:DVD
What a load of old tosh!!!! Must be the worst film ever made and I've seen some drivvle in my time.
The actings as wooden as an oak tree the special effects are well I daren't say !!!
The idea was a good one even though done before years ago ( remember IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA?) The black and white classic with special effects by Ray Harryhausen, if you want a believeable film about a giant octopus watch that instead this ones garbage!!!!!
