Inspiring stories 30 Nov 2006
I bought this book mainly because I read that the proceeds are all going back to children affected by the earthquake and wanted to support the effort. Once I had a chance to read through the accounts inside I was really struck by how sad and yet inspiring they all were. The childrens details about where they were when the earthquake struck just moved me to tears and I couldn't imagine what it took for them to write it all down and relive it. A really inspiring book.

I bought this book not really expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am not easily moved, but the stories really made the events and sadness real. A very good read. I will definitely be on the look out for any other literary outings by this young talent.

Empowering! 30 Nov 2006
By Anoushe
This book was so empowering - for the survivors who wrote about their traumas, for the disconnected audiences reading these accounts as if it happened in real time and for all the attention it will bring to the disaster that happened in Pakistan last year.
