Bought this to replace my old PSU which was on the verge of explosion, although to be fair it was 10years old.
The Octigen PSU is much more lighter than my old PSU, and noise wise is about the same which is average.
You get the following connectors:
Four 4-pin Large Molex Connectors (HD, CD Drives etc)
One 4-pin small Molex Connector (Floppy Drive)
ATX 20Pin Connector
One 4-pin P4 1V Connector
One AT Power Connector
One SATA Connector

Amazon Verified Purchase
I had no previous experience of installing.
I had no idea if this PSU would even be compatible with my PC.
The item arrived without any guidance which was worrying, especially when I took the PSU out with the huge bunch of wires/plugs in a neat ball.
When opening my PC case and inspecting what actually needs to be done, I was still unsure if this would work.
I unscrewed the old unit which had detachable plugs coming out of it with completely different types of cables attached than what the new PSU had.
I inserted the new unit which married up exactly to the holes in the case and screwed in securely without issue.
I assume an industry standard, so this should fit most full size desktop PC's.
I took out all the old plugs/cables from the circuit boards, etc.. making a note what type of plug came from which part of the computer(In hindsight I wished I had taken a photo for reference before dismantling).
Next I plugged in the cables randomly to the available slots, I powered up and switched on.
The fans and circuit boards all came alive, but I had a loud continuous beep coming from the graphics card. I then realised I was missing a cable, which I luckily had in the original graphics card box.
The 6 pin plugged into the graphics card with 4 pin plugs at the other end which happily married up with the remaining 2 plugs from the PSU.
I was shocked as the whole system worked again without any major glitches.
A few things:
Total time to install without any experience 30 minutes (I could probably repeat the process in half the time).
I would assume the screw size/placement for the PSU/PC case is industry standard and the plugs provided are also standard for most systems. The plugs are cleverly designed shapes which will not fit in the wrong way.
If your computer is completely dead, your power supply unit is a likely cause. For a replacement, this one is very good quality for the cost. At this price, it is definitely cheaper than buying a PSU tester.
My computer cost hundreds of pounds. I was thinking of buying a replacement PC, but for a £9 power supply unit (delivered in 2 days!), I potentially saved myself another small fortune.
I think I should start my own computer repair business, I bet people pay through the nose to have these replacement parts installed for them.. cough cough PC World!

great cheap psu , good for older computers as it has molex connectors ,
it also has a sata connection so you can add a newer drive if needed ...

Good budget PSU

ATX PSU
Good price delivered on time. I have an oldish computer with low power requirements for which this power supply was fine. Be sure, if you buy, it has enough power for you.
