An excellent update to a good book,

Published in the year 2000, this book is an excellent companion to medical students starting their O&G attachments. It is very detailed in parts and has a useful basic science section in case you forgot all that from before. There are many colour plates, well set out diagrams and good reproduction of radiographs. Each section starts with a quick 1 or 2 paragraph summary which breaks you into the topic. Then at the end there are useful case summaries which will help solidify the knowledge.Overall I found it a very good book and would highly recomend it along with the companion Gynaecology by Ten Teachers. I also hear there will be an MCQ book for self test.
