Great Series 26 April 2010
By Jason R. Chew - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I remember reading these when they first came out. I still have a few of the original editions, a little beat up but I'd never get rid of them. I too wish Troy Denning would return to this series. Dark Sun was the reason I got into fantasy fiction. The distinct use of sorcery and "The Way" are unlike any other fiction writer. The gritty, sandy, and war torn world of Athas has so many more paths that I'd like to see explored. Troy, if you're out there, please write more of this. And get with some filmakers and turn your Dark Sun into a series of movies. I think it has the potential of being better than Lord of the Rings. Just my two cents.

Good series of books. 28 Dec 2009
By James Hunter - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I've thoroughly enjoyed each book of this series so far. Troy Denning is one of my favorite authors and I really wish that he'd return to Dark Sun to write more.
Probably my least favorite in the series 28 Jan 2012
By Vicissitude - Published on Amazon.com
I enjoyed Agis' brief time in Balic and the huge battle at the end of the book, but otherwise I found the island hopping in the Estuary of the Forked Tongue to be tedious. Things just keep going from bad to worse with a tough ending. It is necessary to set up a strong finish in Cerulean Storm, but I didn't enjoy this book much.
