Sometimes a fishing book is produced that is head and shoulders above the rest. This is one. I have loads of angling books and this is in my top five.
As the book progresses through Dave's catches the sheer effort he made to catch is overwhelming. By explaining how he approached each water I learnt a great deal how to set about the 'impossible' task of catching huge carp.
Fantastic pictures of some of the huge fish he has been fortunate enough to catch and 312 pages make this a big read too.
