Richmond Fontaine's re-recordings of early material looses none of the substance and energy of the original recordings but in a slightly more polished presentation closer to recent albums such as Thirteen Cities and We Use to Think the Freeway Sounded Like a River. Those only familiar with the Fitzgerald will be pleasantly surprised by the rocking punky flavour of this album and delighted by the Country fusion. The highlights are possibly 'Miles From' which is splendidly atmospheric and 'Concussion'.
