5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable EP 4 July 2011
By reptar - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I've never reviewed an album on Amazon before, but I felt that I had to after hearing this. For months, my only means of listening to their music was on their Myspace page, so when this album came out, I was pretty excited to get it. To put it simply, these are 5 of the catchiest songs that you will ever hear. They make the singles from MGMTs first album seem like Justin Bieber. I haven't stopped listening to this ep since I bought it. I read a review that summed up their sound pretty well by stating that Reptar sounds like a mix of Animal Collective and Vampire Weekend, except that Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend could only dream to have a voice this incredible. So if you like Animal Collective, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Talking Heads or Modest Mouse, or if you just like good music in general, but this ep.

By the way, Reptar also has two more songs on iTunes titles "Houseboat Babies" and "Cannabis Canyon" that are equally as incredible as the songs on this ep.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Bombest Bomb Diggity Ever 8 Aug 2011
By Mark Boyd - Published on Amazon.com
This band rules SO HARD! Buy this album now and you can say "I knew them when" to all your hipster friends when they get all famous 'n' stuff. Or, you could just be sensible and listen to the music and find enjoyment, peace, and funkadelic grooves within yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars too good 1 Mar 2012
By dbrozo SD - Published on Amazon.com
These dudes played a show in town on my birthday this last tuesday. If you thought the mp3's were good, get your butt down to a live show to really get an idea of how awesome they are.

5.0 out of 5 stars if you like indie, techno, dance, rave, or house music this EP is for you 29 Nov 2011

Reptar is an amazing band, a new sound that you probably haven't heard. They fuse indie music with hard synth vibes and techno jam rock. You will not be disappointed when you buy this album, it takes a couple listens before you get addicted but once you do you wont be able to stop listening and vibin' out to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars insane start 4 Nov 2011
By tarte - Published on Amazon.com
Saw them open for Phantogram and they are honestly the craziest opening act I've seen. Think psychedelic vampire weekend on speed. Their show is insanely energetic. Songs on this EP are very good. Definitely a bright future ahead for them.
