I bought this when had my 2nd child, the first being 2 years old at the time. It does what it is supposed to - newborn can lie flat in the main seat with toddler on top, and then switch the chair to the back once your newborn is a bit older. It's cheaper than other similar tandems on the market and manoeuvres well. Comes complete with apron, rain cover, headsupport. The back wheels click on and off which really helps as otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit it in the back of the car. Bear this in mind, as if you have a small boot, you will struggle getting this in, but I think this will be the case with a lot of twins/tandems. If you're looking for something lightweight, this is not for you - its really heavy and requires some muscle to lift out of the car and set up. Also, the seat when fitted on top is really high. My 2 year old is tall for her age and her head practically touches the hood. Finally, if your toddler still naps while you're out and about, you should note that the added seat does not recline at all. I wish I would have thought more about this before buying as she ends up sleeping upright now, which can't be comfortable for her.

Versatile pushchair 28 Dec 2010
I use this pushchair for a newborn and 23 month old. It was easy to put together with clear instructions, also check Youtube for videos. It's a bit bulky and heavy but so are most tandems and it will fit in a larger boot. After a bit of practise it gets easier to attach the second seat either above or below the main seat. Baby lies completely flat and is protected from the elements. Toddler gets the extra seat clipped on top and ours seems to enjoy the high position! The pushchair is easy to manoeuvre and locking off the front wheel helps on uneven ground or sloping pavements. It is also great to use as a single pushchair.

Double trouble 14 Aug 2011
This pushchair seemed like the answer to our prayers. A Phil and Teds look a like but much cheaper and with all extras included. Sadly, I have not had a good experience with it and cannot recommend.

It is extremely heavy and unless the tyres are constantly pumped up then it veers off to the right. It is also dificult to manouver, even when used as a single.

When the extra seat is on the front, your toddler is very high up. When the hood is out over it brushes my sons head - this was when he was 18 months, so not very big.

When the extra seat is on the back, the raincover doesn't fit around them. Also the main seat cannot be reclined as the large recliner clasp would be touching the toddler in the back, so the baby in the front will have to sleep sitting up

Two of the poppers have torn out of the seat unit so it doesn't fix to the frame properly anymore, making the fabric get in the way of the mechanism so it is difficult to open.

The plastic clip on the shoulder strap of the extra seat had broken so it doesn't fix into the waist strap. In the main seat, the same clip was broken when the buggy was delivered (sent back) so this looks like a common fault.

I can forgive the weight and the un-manouverability - it is a double after all, but all the breakages ad design faults make life very difficult. If you can, get a side by side.
