Product Description

Product Description

Designed for children 12 months and older, the OXO Tot Four-Piece Feeding Set will see your toddler through the various stages of development.

The plate features a non-slip weighted base and curved ring that helps little ones guide food onto their utensils and keeping food where it belongs - on the plate and not on your floor. The ring can be removed when your tot has mastered the art of self-feeding, allowing the plate to be used as your child grows.

The 360ml bowl features a non-slip weighted base and high walls to make scooping pudding or yoghurt onto utensils easy.

The OXO Tot Fork & Spoon is perfect for when tots are ready to feed themselves. Generous handles have soft, non-slip grips and are easy to hold while scooping yoghurt or piercing pasta. The fork tines capture food effectively with no sharp edges, while the deep spoon head easily scoops and contains food, easing the frustrations of learning to self-feed. A flat spot on the handles prevents the fork and spoon from rolling off the table or highchair tray and the soft grips are shaped to keep them from sliding into bowls or plates, easing the transition to "grown-up" cutlery.

Plate and Bowl are top-rack dishwasher safe. Fork & Spoon Set is dishwasher safe.12+ months. Complies with BS EN 14372 safety standard.

The Fork and Spoons measure 2.5 x 2.5 x 14 cm (L x W x H), the Plate measures 16 x 16 x 3.5 cm (L x W x H), the Bowl Set measures 12.1 x 15.2 x 21 cm (L x W x H).

OXO Tot offers parents thoughtful products that help guide, nurture and care for their little ones.

OXO making everyday living easier for over 20 years.

This is great. Just the right size for toddler portions, we use the plate with the lip on for every meal as it makes it so much easier for our daughter to self-feed. She can master the bowl now too and it's a useful size for taking out. The cutlery is perfect for little hands. I have now got 3 sets to keep up with all meals and snack times!

We now have 4 sets. The cutlery is a bit large for a little child (definitely too big for the first feeding) but our daughter at 16 months has used it for the last 6 months or so. It stands pretty firm on the table and I love that the fork is not sharp at the ends. Sharp enough for picking up the food but not too dangerous for the eyes when she's pointing around. Bowl is great for pasta, snacks, breakfast.
Have just bought a set for my sister's daughter too.

I bought this set and the green set 3 weeks ago, having read the reviews for the green set and being on offer. They arrived promptly. My Lo is 16 months and has been fighting with me for the past few weeks, to use the cutlery that I occasionally use to spoonfed her when she does not finger feed. However seeing the mess that has been created has discourage me from letting her have free range. However after a week of using the oxo spoon mainly with the plate, my LO is becoming more adept and confident in spoonfeeding herself and more and more of the food is directed to her mouth independently without my help. I hope to progress my LO with the fork when she has mastered the spoon. However just a few points to note:
    1. Although the rim of the plate helps to keep the food in and enable the food to fall into the spoon, it can obstruct my LO's view of what's in the inside of the rim that she tends to tip up the plate to have a proper look of where the rest of the food is. No doubt in time my LO will be able to see the entire contents of the plate from where she is sitting. Plus I find it a little difficult to snap the rim back on the plate after they have been separated in the wash.
    2. The set comes with a separate small leaflet about not microwaving the plate or bowl. However I did check on the official American website which confirmed that they were microwavable and have microwaved the bowl. The first occasion, was fine. However, when the bowl was microwaved with some tomato based food on the second occasion, it subsequently stained and I am unable to remove the stains.
    3. I have placed the set in the dishwasher and after 2 weeks of use there are some slight scratches on the plate and bowl
    4. As another reviewer mentioned specifically on the bowl, the sides are so high sided for your LO that they can't see where the food is and once again end up tipping the bowl to have a look see

In all useful but would help if the plate and bowl were microwaveable. Pricey at full price
