Raised ribs on the bottom of the tray ensure items don't sit in a pool of water, keeping them clean, sanitary and dry. Additional space at the front of the rack is useful for small parts. This is a bit of a luxury purchase (could probably achieve the same outcome with a regular drying rack...) but was bought so that I could stop drying baby's bottles etc. atop a damp (and probably unhygienic) tea towel on a kitchen work surface.
The design is simple yet effective - the rows of 'spines' are great for perching bottles, teat covers and teats on to drip dry after washing, and there are raised ribs which create channels for water so that items sat atop these ribs have air circulating around them (and also do not sit in a pool of water).
There is a little drainage box for toddler spoons etc.
It's very well made (typical of OXO products), and fits well in any kitchen. The whole thing can be cleaned in the top rack of a dishwasher, which makes life a bit simpler.

This has been invaluable for drying the stream of baby bottles that our 3 month old has been going through. The prongs are well spaced for all parts of the bottles. The plastic is of good quality and this feels like a well designed and manufactured product.
Like most parents we started using a towel for the bottles on the kitchen top. Easy, cheap and you just throw a towel into the washing machine. As the equipment increased, the towel started to get soaked. So we looked around, Prince Lionheart have a great rack, but it is just for bottles. Like most parents we wanted something that was useful through a long period of time. We found this new item from Oxo, and were impressed. Here is our view:
- good size : we've one baby, and this is more than enough for a set of bottles and weaning equipment
- good for weaning : yes, this is great and versatile enough to hold sippy cups, bowls, spoons etc.
- collects water : this is key, you dont need to put it on a sink, it has a little tray for the water and thus can be put anywhere
- white and red make for a universal and nice product : it looks smart!
Its expensive and we got away with a towel for four months. In the end, we would be happy to have had this from day one! Good buy.

This drying rack is very good. It is sturdy and has a small removable basket which can be used for drying spoons, dummies etc or removed when drying larger items. Read more
