A strong, weighted masher that does wonders to boiled potatoes. Mashing ability 5*!
However, cleaning (in a washing up bowl) is a nightmare. To the point I'd cook pasta almost every time. I don't doubt it cleans up well in a dishwasher.

I already had this potato masher, the best masher I had ever used, my daughters envied it! but I could not find them for sale, thought Oxo had stopped making them. Then - hallelujah saw them on Amazon site, now all our family enjoy creamy lump free mashed potato, swede, carrots, you name the veg, we mash it with little effort and no worry of scratched saucepans.

I bought this masher because my old traditional style round one with holes in was a nightmare to clean. This is brilliant, it mashes really well and comes clean easily in the dishwasher. I would recommend to anyone.

All the mash gets stuck in it!
Mashes potatoes well but all the mash gets stuck in between the grooves and no amount of banging on the side gets it loose! So you lose half your mash potato! It's ridiculous. Read more

Not at all impressed, doesn't make much of a job with the mashing and a real horror to get clean
