Product Description

Product Description

Loose leaf tea just got a lot less complicated. The OXO Good Grips Twisting Tea Ball makes it easy to scoop up the desired amount of loose leaf tea. The twisting feature ensures that a generous amount of tea leaves stays inside the Ball while you close it. The spinning design also makes the Tea Ball easy to clean. The Twisting Tea Ball has a long, stainless steel neck to accommodate many different sizes of mugs and cups, and the soft, non-slip grip makes stirring comfortable. The Twisting Tea Ball is also great for steeping herbs and spices into your favourite recipes.

Product Description

Lovers of loose-leaf tea will adore this elegant little tool. Scoop up a generous amount of tea then close the ball by twisting the end of the handle. The long stainless steel neck means it will fit most mugs and cups and the soft, comfortable non-slip grip makes it easy to handle. It's great for infusing your own herbal teas too.

This seemed like such a great idea, and in some ways it is: the long, rigid handle works brilliantly, as does the swivel head to allow for scooping up the tea. The one downside – and I'm sad to say it's a fairly major one – is that half the tea falls straight out through the holes and into the cup. If you're looking for a tea ball for ordinary teas (as opposed to herbal infusions, for example), then I'd give this a miss. (I was using loose leaf Assam and it couldn't cope at all.)

Excellent product. Infuses well and acts as a stirring utensil while not falling apart like cheaper products. I love this thing.

Perhaps slightly overpriced kitchen tool but very good all the same, no more loose leaf tea for me, although the holes are big enough to let some 'dust' through as expected.

Really easy to use - even getting the tea leaves out. Perfect solution for making one mug of tea with loose tea.

These were purchased to replace some "scissor" type infusers that we purchased from a high-street shop. Didn't simply do a replacement, as the other type were prone to falling apart after a couple of months use. These were more expensive, but worked better and haven't dropped to bits yet. They can be a bit harder to clean that the other type, as tealeaves get stuck between the two halves, but they are probably the best of the types available.

One the best one-cup infusers around. Great design. Would be better if water could get to the tea more easily.
