It's made of 1 entire piece of plastic with rubber-type handles which are really good to grip with. Can easily a hold a large pot of pasta, drains very well, soooo easy to clean because its made of 1-piece plastic. Its very sturdy, plastic is solid, does not flex at all.
Can not fault it at all, in fact, it will probably be the last colander i ever buy, and if i did buy another, it would be the same one. It is so much better than my old metal colander.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This colander looks good, does the job and is light. It fits in the dishwasher easily and has not scratched. It is strong and sturdy and fits into my pans well. It is steady on it's feet, which isn't obvious from the picture.

Good collander

Nice heavy plastic and the handles are great. The one thing I would prefer is to have holes instead of slots for the liquid to drain through. I tend to lose more pasta through them than any other collander I've used before.

OXO is amazing, and this colander is pretty wonderful.
Tosses in the dishwasher, easier to clean in general than the ld shcool meatal ones.
Spagetti is tough in this; the holes are actually slits, and spaghetti can get caught- hence the 4 stars. For eveything else- fabulous!

Good grip, my eye!

The handles are way, way too small and the rubbery "grip" just feels gross. That said, it does drain efficiently. Not the easiest thing in the world to clean, though.
