This makes peeling ginger easy, particularly if it's a bit nobbly. It feels lovely in the hand and really gets into those awkward corners. I used to use a potato peeler but this is a much easier way to go.

Now when peeling ginger it is important to not use an actual peeler for the waste of product. Now if you don't feel like spending the extra money a spoon works just fine. Just how this design looks. The metal part is the spoon, but instead of an uncomfortable grip a spoon gives off this gives you an easy handle. I peel a lot of ginger so I decided to just make the splurge on this. Works great. Handle is comfortable and peels perfectly.
