Got this for lightweight camping good bit of kit surprisingly spacious holding all my gear that I carry. The detachable top roll bag is great for those incidental bits of kit you want to carry, being large enough for a pair of trainer's, sweatshirt and jeans if you pack them carefully. The internal net pockets great for head torch Leatherman and or wash kit, great for a trek to the shower at the end of a day on the bike.
Off the bike the whole assemble is not so good to carry due to the d ring fastener separating the carry straps. The straps pull through and de stabilises the rucksack however a tie wrap sorts this out though! I wouldn't want to carry this up a side of a mountain but it's not designed for this activity. Tie on points are great for the tent, advise you get a few straps. The internal removable lid I discarded as it prevented the extendable internal tie top being fully utilised. The adjustable straps secure the lid well.
The fixing straps ensure your bag doesn't move on the rack but make sure you use them as the kissy bar loops provide stabilisation vertically but forget to strap on and you get horizontal movement in a sweeping bend that moves the centre of gravity of the bike. Nice touch is the water proof cover that is spacious enough to get a sleeping bag under it too!
A good product coupled with saddle bags enough space for a weekends camping and if ultralite ok for a week or even for the daily commuter kit and laptop.

The pack arrived within three days of ordering and was perfect for my 10-day tour of Ireland. The capacity of the pack was great with all those extra pockets and that easy to remove additional bag on the top. More than enough space for the length of holiday. The waterproof cover for the pack worked very well as we had one extremely wet day on the road. There were certainly no leaks. all in all a great piece of kit and I would recommend it to anyone
