In the design world, it is totally possible to get everything right and it still not work. The Owle does everything it promises (with the possible exception of the microphone, which is criminally bad). It does make the iphone much steadier and the lens does make the shot nicer. The rubber sleeve does hold it tightly in place, and so on and so forth. But how often will you use it? The great thing about an iPhone is how deliciously portable it is. If you have to carry around a big hunk of cast metal, and maybe the light disc thing too, why not just take a bigger camera, like a DLSR?
I bought mine months ago but have only used it a couple of times. But I have shot lots of other videos with my iphone in the meantime.
Great design... but pretty much useless.
