I can't recommend this album enough. After the joy that was Corduroy's 'Dad Man Cat' the band started to explore their vocal talents on a greater level.....with exceptional results. I know it's been said on Amazon thousands of times before but there really isn't a bad track on this album especially now it's been remastered with bonus tracks. If you enjoy 70's sound with modern pop sensibilities then this album's for you. Buy it if only to appreciate what exceptional musicians these guys are and I guarantee you'll love it!

Sixties and seventies borrowers Corduroy liked a laugh.
They wanted to be the band that appeared in every party sceene in every groovy movie. To play the funky tracks that accompany so many zaney cartoon car chases.To be the composers of facinating spy film sound tracks.To party like its nineteen sixty nine.
This, the third of five Corduroy albums realize’s many of these ambitions. Funny, funky, fast and furious.
This was partly achieved by generic song writing. But most probably the Corduroy sound was based around throbing Rickenbacker Bass guitar riffs. And they had one of the best bassists in the world ever. And one of the best looking.

excellent album,just right for the acid jazz label,i must have played this album 30 or 40 times and still it sounds superb.this is one of those albums you would take round your mates house on a friday night and everybody in the room would ask who is this.absolute no hesitation just go out and buy this album you will not regret.WELL DONE CORDUROY.

A good album, but not their best
High Havoc and DadManCat are two albums that defined Corduroy and Acid Jazz and are fantastic in their own right, however, somewhere along the line they decided to add vocals. Read more
