Purchased this to use with my panasonic G1, small SLR.Panasonic Lumix G1 Digital System Camera Kit - Black (12.1MP) Previously used a neck strap, but found that I spent most of my time with the strap wrapped round my wrist to secure the camera in my hand. Looked at and tried various wrist straps, but found them either insecure, or they made it difficult to use the camera controls. The Op/Tech strap is well made, comfortable on the wrist, and allows easy access to the camera controls. It is compact and sits easily in the camera case so you can slip it on your wrist and adjust it before lifting the camera out. A simple, well thought out way to keep your camera secure. BAZ

I don't often use traditional neckstraps -- they are dorky looking, make your neck hurt, and get in the way when off the neck. This strap is the perfect solution -- I use it on my Nikon D7000 without concern, it snugs up onto my wrist but is slack enough that I can still move my hand around or move to a portrait grip. And because it unsnaps from a uniloop connector, your diehard neck strap users can swap it for a uniloop neckstrap in seconds.

This is one of the first things I buy when I get a new camera, my old cameras usually go to my kids with the strap still in place. What I like is the fact that these are soft and very flexible and don't cause any rubbing on the back of your hand even when tight. The quick release adapter also means I have the option to take the strap off when I am using a tripod or macro work when it sometimes gets in the way or blows up in front of my wide angle lens. I have had 4 of these now and never hand any issues with quality.

This is a really excellent strap. Perhaps it would not be so good for bigger cameras (one other reviewer wrote that it is a bit stretchy, which is true) - but I have a Panasonic GH2 and it is absolutely perfect. Easy to use, sturdy and comfortable. I have a black one - the photo looks grey but it really is black. Can be interchanged with other op.tech straps (I also bought a utility sling strap so I can carry and use the camera while wearing it cross-body).

The concept of a one-handed camera carrying strap is a very good one. The plastic quick detach clip is rock solid, but the neoprene strap itself is too rubbery and stretchy. Used with a DSLR it just feels too elastic to trust, as though the camera is doing a bungee jump. It would probably feel much safer with a lighter camera, but is quite large and would look very big carrying a compact.

I have a Lumix G camera and this strap works quite well with it and is very comfortable.

I have two issues, the first is that the cord from the clip to the camera should be about 20mm longer, because I find that the clip can sometimes catch the buttons on the camera.

The second is that the strap is oversized for my wrist, I don't have small wrists but am no rugby player, so I find the strap a little loose. There is a sort of sliding bit which can reduce the diameter but it doesn't stay put. The chances are that the strap would be too loose for most women and almost certainly too big for a teenager.

This is very comfortable on the wrist and feels secure hold my Canon SX40HS bridge camera - far better than the neck strap that came with it!

Perfect for carrying a heavy DSLR "at the ready".without straps flapping around to distdact you. Fits well into the Optec camera carrying system. The quick relese system works well and I feel very confiedent that it will not" let go" of a very expensive camera. Because the relese buckles have to be man enough for the job it must be noted, people with week grip may have a little trouble releasing them.
