Uber pleased with this purchase. I was looking for some new boots for the winter since last year's UK weather was ridiculous and I wanted something new to replace my wellies. I was a bit worried when it said they might mix your shoe size up with the American sizes, but thought I'd take a chance and mine came correct and were a perfect fitting. I'm not a shoe/boot expert but they looked well made and well prepared for winter weather-as I expected from Outdoor Sports company O'Neill. I've never bought snow boots before so I'm not familiar with specific designs, but noticed that the size of the sole has been increased in width to help spread your weight out on the snow, making sure you don't sink so easily-so that factor sold it to me. The price was reasonable considering the make so that didn't faze me much, and the colours are gorgeous. Never been so pleased with a footwear purchase than I was with these and I've got much faith in them for keeping my feet warm and dry this winter. Plus they come in a little protective plastic storage bag with handles which I was pretty impressed with. I'd definitely recommend.
I bought these based on the good reviews already given and am a little disappointed. The boots are not as comfortable as I had hoped after reading the reviews and the sizing given online is misleading. I ordered a UK size 9, which turns out to be labelled as an 8-9 in reality, so fits me rather poorly. I would say size-wise they are more accurately described as an 8 1/2. I'm not entirely sold on the quality of the boots either, they seem a little cheap for something with an RRP of £60-£70. If I had paid full price they would be going back. I can't comment on their durability or performance yet but they are certainly warm.
