I bought these gloves prior to our February family holiday as the temperatures had been really low (-20c) in France and I wanted to have a back up pair to my old favourites.
These gloves are very good value. XL was not tight and allowed air to circulate and keep my hands warm. The cuffs fit over your sleeves to keep out the cold.
Very happy with my purchase, BUT did not test in snowy conditions so not sure these would be as waterproof as a Goretex or equivelent.
My son finished up borrowing them as his fancy racing style gloves were no good for being out all day in really cold temperatures.
