Great mix of laughter and sadness,
By Shaz's Book Blog (Wiltshire) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The O'Hara Affair (Paperback)
Picture a nice quiet country town....and then picture the impact that a Hollywood movie has on the town....peace and tranquility shattered and replaced with the glamour, glitz and chaos that a movie set brings.
This book follows on from the Kinsella Sisters and once again we meet the Kinsella's, Rio and her sister Dervla, who is now married and living in the village along with her hubby and his mother who has just moved in with them. Imagine being a newlywed and having to cope with a mother-in-law who has Alzheimers. The main character in this book though is not the Kinsella's but is centered around their friend Fleur, who runs the local boutique, and whose boyfriend is the Mr Big behind the movie being filmed in the town. This book brings you the perfect combination of laughter and sorrow to enable you to dream away these dreary wintry nights.

Long awaited sequel, beautifully written by Kate Thompson. I would fully recommend this book, even if you havent read anything else by Kate (you should!) you will be able to enjoy this as a stand alone book.
Easy to read but be warned - you wont want to put it down! Fantastic characters with so much charisma, cannot wait for the next book.

Always eagerly awaited the aurthor delivered another very enjoyable read. The author effectively intertwines three characters and brings them to life, on paper and in their own cyberspace. Can't wait for the next book.
