Used this through my android phone. It works fine on a Focus ST 2006 and Panda ECO 2011. The bluetooth passkey on mine was 1234 I used Torque OBD software which was free to from Android Apps.
Just make sure when you open Torque OBD that you tell the software to comunicate with this device or you will get the message "paired but not connected" on your phone.
You do this by opening the APP touch ok, select the pop up screen, 3 horizontal lines just under the screen and next to the home button (htc Incredible 2), then More then Settings then Device ,you should then have the option of selecting obd2ecu on your phone screenwhich is your diagnostic device. Easier than it sounds, all should become clear when it's plugged in and the phone is in your hand.
Once you have done this the next time you use it it connects automatically if you plug the device in then open up the APP on your phone. All the diagnostic options are available fromm the pop up menu, available on my phone by touching the button with 3 horizontal lines just under the screen and next to the home button (htc Incredible 2)
