This revision guide is great for people that study the new AS Physics from OCR. It is to the point and easy to understand. It gives you everything you need to know for the G482 exam on Electrons, Waves and Photons. If you make good use of this book, you could be closer to that A grade more than before. Its much better than the official AS Physics book for this syllabus, and it has really good worked examples on almost every small topic that will most definately come up in the exam.It has a small maths section at the beginning just incase you are weak in it. Whats best about this book is that at the back there is a question and answer section, with answers from difference candidates. Candidate A gives perfect model answers to these exam style questions at the back, giving you an idea of how your answers should be in the exam. It a great revision guide, and I'm using it right now to revise for my physics exam this Thursday. Wish me luck!

This book, though small in size, fits in the whole of the G482 module in exactly the detail which is required for the exam. With clear explanations of concepts which seem confusing when stated elsewhere and worked examples for every section, it really does provide the perfect addition to your usual textbook. The last 20 pages or so of the guide is dedicated to example questions and their answers - both at a lower level and 'A' grade - I really think this helps you get your head around what the examiner is looking for and gives you access to the higher grades.

Just as a final endorsement, this, combined with my textbook, helped me get full marks in this module - so I really think it is worth the relatively small price tag!

Even though this is a small book, the content is perfect and is definitely the best source I've used for Electrons, Waves and Photons. Highly recommend it!
