2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible book 2 Jan 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Basically, the BOOK content is so bad!

You would think the book would help you understand some case studies for Section B as well as teach you some media concepts! Instead, it gives you jargon and nothing that will help your exam technique. Do not buy this if you think it will help you write better essays!

Needed this for A level, and I got an A overall, a very good and awesome book. Goes into a lot of exam tips as well.

The book arrived very quickly and in brilliant condition. There were some helpful sections, but part of the OCR A2 Media Studies course includes a section where you can study video games, however there was no video games section in this book, just a statement to buy Julian McDougall's book Studying Videogames. Still quite helpful and probably the best OCR media studies book available.
