Format:Paperback
Yet another excellent textbook for A2 Criminal Law by Jacqueline Martin. This textbook is a must for students undertaking A2 Criminal Law with OCR.

Excellent use of graphics makes the book easily readable. Brilliant use of key cases, with key facts sections and past examination questions. Also, useful is the inclusion of the Special Study materials as an appendix.

This book is highly recommended for all Criminal Law students.

Head of the Department of Laws,
Strode's College, Egham.

This is an essential text for A-level candidates taking the criminal law exam on the OCR syllabus. It is well-written, providing the right balance of cases, commentary and criticism of the law. It will serve well both as a complimentary resource for classroom use, or as a complete revision guide. It addresses all the elements of the criminal law, from the fundamentals of criminal liability, through to murder, manslaughter, offences against property, non-fatal offences and defences.

This edition is particularly well-presented. The topics are structured well across the chapters, and text is laid out attractively. There is good use of shading to distinguish cases and diagrams where appropriate. Case summaries are very good - concise and clearly expressed. There are also sample questions for exam practice.

'OCR Criminal Law for A2' is a great resource. It explains the application of the relevant case-law and cites the most important parts of law reports, legislation and judgements, to give students a broader understanding of how the criminal law is applied in practice. It worked for me!
