Upgraded from a GTX 560 as I don`t want to take the plunge on a PS4 just now ( too expensive, no Last of Us 2 yet! ). So I opted to spend £180 on the GTX 760 hoping it would fill a need until I decided to go next gen for the exclusives.
My motherboard is an Asus PT6 SE with an i7 2.80Ghz Quad core CPU. 8Gb of DDR3 2000 RAM. The motherboard also only has PCIe 2.0 slots. The card spec lists it as PCIe 3.0. I was worried the card may not work, but it does , and it does work amazingly well. You do lose some speed by using PCIe 2.0, but it works out at only 3-4 frames per second. Not worth changing the motherboard over.
As soon as I installed the card I tried out a few games. All of these were unplayable on Ultra before I got this card, now they all run on really well. On a couple ( BF4 been one ) I turn down the FSAA by a couple of levels just to remove the hiccups on GPU intensive moments like fire-fights. It`s still playable with everything on full, but I prefer solid smooth framerate over a slightly flitered pixel. Oh, and it`s all on 1080p too! My old card had to be kept at 720p to keep the framerate up as much as possible.
Arkham City now runs on Ultra settings at 1080p with Physics on High - not Normal. Tiny bits of lag here and there during lots of activity , but that disappears when you drop the physics to Normal. With my 560 I couldn`t even have physics on if I wanted a solid framerate.
Far Cry 3, Saints Row IV, Thief, NFS: Rivals , AC4 all look and play amazing. But the biggest improvement I saw was on Tomb Raider. Didn`t try Ultra on that, instead I set it to Ultimate. It is absolutely stunning. TressFX enabled too. The only time I notice slowdown is in the rendered cut-scenes when there are about five people in the scene.Read more ›

I did a lot of research on this card before i went ahead and committed to it. Best decision I've made, instant improvement across all of my games. I can now play all my titles in ultra setting modes - yet to find a title where i begin to have frame rate issues. Excellent value for money and very easy to install. Make sure you check the dimensions of the card vs your case and you should be laughing. 5/5 from me!

I recently purchased myself this graphics card in order to complete my gaming computer rig. I was pleasantly surprised of the price of this card as it was reasonable cheap for the high quality that you get.
The card was easy to install and features a plug in and play before drivers need to be installed so there is no need to use your motherboards on board graphics and waste time in doing so. The drivers are quick to install with the starting disk and after that the software makes it very user friendly to get the updates you need.
As a sort of benchmark for you, I am currently running an i5 processor with and asus px motherboard, 8GB RAM and this card and I am able to max out graphic settings in games like ARMA 3, DayZ, Battlefield 4 and so on. This is a card that will last you a brave while in the ever changing world of hardware.

This card has transformed my gaming experience... I'm not a gamer but occasionally play Elite Dangerous and X-Plane. My previous card was a passively-cooled GTX620 which I bought because it's important to me that my PC is quiet when running general office / development applications (my main job). I was concerned that a 'gaming' graphics card would be too noisy, but the Asus GTX 760 turns out to be very quiet in normal use, and only barely audible when gaming. Frame rates are up from 6-7fps with the old card to 50-60fps with this one, a night-and-day difference.

An amazing bit of kit, I upgraded to this from the gtx650 which is still an awesome gpu, I can run BF4 on ultra at about 40-50 fps, but that varies, as in BF 4 there are a lot of large explosion which result in really bad lag spikes, to counter this I leave my settings on high.
I'm not entirely sure how loud it is as my side fan is a cooler master at 2000rpm so it gets pretty loud.
The 760 comes with the gpu tweak like with the 650, which enables you to tweak the, gpu fan speed, memory clock, voltage and gpu clock speed.
Just a quick head's up, I had never had a gpu of this power, so you either need an 8 pin power, (from your psu), or they do provide an adapter where you plug two, 6 pin leads into it.
Defiantly recommend

I went from an nvidia 560 to this card and I am totally GOBSMACKED by the improvement. I can now play BF4, Titanfall and COD:Ghosts with most details on high and getting an oily smooth 70+ fps !
My system is:
3Ghz Quad core (QX9650) 8Gb Ram
The card delivers the power of these ridiculously large graphics card that are about 1 metre long and need a separate power supply :) ONLY this one is 21cm long and fits easily into a m/b without worrying about interfering with cables, SATA sockets, hard drives etc.
This card is a steal at the price of £150.
VERY VERY well done to ASUS for supplying such a great card at such a great price. I should also thank the reviewers on this website who gave me the confidence to buy this card.
