The sort of book you can pick up and piece read with easy , 90% of this book is photographic history all photos are full page , sharp and clear reproduction all full page and decently sized, captions are accurate and informative.
I have to admit 90% odd of these photos I have not seen before and although have seen glimpses of tank production this elongated view of German industry was very welcome.
You see the production process from start to finish , the repair of tanks brought back from Russia, the men who built the Panther and the men who fought in the tank visiting and at times working alongside the machine engineers who built this tank.
All in all this gives an insight into the building of what was a complex and labour intensive build process , how Germany ever sought to match the Russian output is another aspect of this book , quality vs quantity.
An interesting book which is to be recommended.
