This review is from: White Nunchuck Controller Remote for Nintendo Wii Console (Video Game)
Bought this thinking it would be an unofficial controller as it was much cheaper than the original one but it was the official one just not in the box. (at the time of writing this the product description stated that they were the same but not boxed to keep packaging costs down.) Works fine and was delivered the very next day. Very impressed. If you are worried about getting this as it seems too good to be true, don't be. The only thing I will say is it is not wireless as stated in the description but if you look at the picture it shows the wire and I was not expecting it to be wireless for the price they were selling it at. Would recommend. The only thing I will say is if you want this as a gift remember it does not come in a box.

Bought this a couple of months ago. It is not an official Wii nunchuck (which I did not expect at this price). It never worked quite right. It was not as sensitive as a real one and it never felt right. Now it has ceased functioning. Whenever I hook it into the controller, the controller flips out completely and refuses to work. It is not worth my time and the trouble to ship this back to the UK, so I binned it.Stear clear, bad quality product.

--What is a nunchuck--The nunchuck serves a multitude of purposes depending on which game you play. Some games even rely soley on the Wii remote but using the nunchuck enhances the gaming experience greatly. The nunchuck is connected to the Wii remote via a data cable which is plugged into the bottom of the remote, this clicks into place easily and unclips by pressing in the 2 sides of the clip whilst pulling it out. The nunchuck comprises an analogue directional controller and a button (known as the Z button) on the end of it. --Usage-- As well as being used as a directional controller the nunchuck has plenty of other uses. I was really surprised to find out that the nunchuck also contains the same motion sensors as the Wii remote which means that any movement of the nunchuck has an effect on the game, for example in Wii Sports boxing, the nunchuck becomes your left hand enabling you to capture the correct 2 punching technique. Other uses I have found for it are for running as fast as you can in the excellent Rayman where you need to get your arms pumping as you would in a sprinting race, also, in the same game a quick flick on the nunchuck would reload the ammunition in your gun. --Verdict-- I am a little bit wary of the cable between the nunchuck and the Wii remote as it is not the longest and if you get carried away in an event where you need to be throwing both hands in different directions there is potential for the cable to either be disconnected or, even worse, to snap. This was a flaw with earlier nunchucks but I believe Nintendo have now addressed the problem. The Nunchuck is great addition to the gaming experience and if you have more than one Wii remote, I would recommend getting an additional nunchuck for each of these remotes.
