Firstly, this is not the genuine Henry part as advertised.
I ordered a Henry part for my Henry Xtra, and I received some shoddy universal 2nd rate junk. I asked the company to send me the correct part but they refused, saying someone had changed the advert without them knowing. The advert does still state it's a genuine part so I'm guessing they haven't bothered to change it back... I was moving house (which the company knew about) and didn't have time to faff about with refunds, I needed a floor tool! They had me by the delicates, and they knew it. I'll never deal with them again.
The tool itself is beyond useless. If you like flicking crumbs around the room instead of actually hoovering them up, this tool is for you. The head is improperly angled and therefore you have to bend down so the pipe is almost parallel to the floor to ensure the whole tool sits on the floor, otherwise the back of the tool doesn't touch ground.
It's flimsy, I am worried it will break each time I remove it to use a different tool. I bought a Henry because they are built to last, I want a floor tool with the same longevity. (If you're wondering, my old one isn't broken, I just used it in the garage and don't want to use it on my brand new carpets after that!)
The brush switch keeps flicking back off during use which is a scratch danger to my wood flooring.
I have found it's actually more effective to not use this tool at all, just hoover around with the bare pipe. That's how rubbish this thing is.
If you want an ornament, go for it. If you want a floor tool, don't order this part, as it is NOT a genuine Henry part and you will be disappointed.

I bought the Numatic (Henry) Main Combination Floor Tool (300mm( as replacement for my overused original Henry at the same time as a replacement hose. The aim was to renew a well used Hoover! However nothing but disappointment. The attachment is nothing like the original. Cheap and the part which attaches to the hose is at completely the wrong angle so unless you are 3ft tall it is impossible to hoover with. There is no way to move the upright part so the part is redundant and cannot really be used. I could have coped with the reduced quality but unfortunately I can't even hoover with it! Wast of money.

Not as solid and robust as the original head but soo much cheaper!
Great value for money. Not sure how long it will last but they get dirty after a while anyway
and with free pp you can afford to buy another when this wears out.
