After being totally ripped off with other vacuums,including a Dyson that was a compelete waste of money, having to constantly dismantle it to find out why it kept stopping every time I used it, the motor constantly cutting out and buying an Electrolux that died after just 3 months, I have struggled with using a sweeping brush and dustpan for months and months, as I was so distrusting of any vacuum cleaner at all. In more or less total desperation, I read the reviews for this little vacuum cleaner and was swayed with the sheer amount of positive comments, and after also speaking to a work colleague, who has recently bought her latest Henry,the first one only just giving up after an incredible 17 years use..!!! I decided to try this machine and I have to tell you that it is something I wish I had bought years ago. Where do I begin....firstly, it is a compact little lad, that follows you around so easily, with an incredibly quiet motor. The hose will reach to the top of my stairs, just, and it is marvellous not to have to juggle with trying to balance it on the stairs. The suction has a booster, which I have used once, and that was only just to try it out, as the normal suction is sufficient. I have to say that the most overwhelming feature of this little machine is the design of the excellent quality filter system, as since I have been using it, the dust levels in my home are almost gone. The vacuum itself has no dust clinging to it, proving the quality of the filtration. The brilliant design means it is simplicity itself to just wipe clean with a wet wipe, after use to keep it sparkling. The success of this vacuum has got to be in the sheer simplicity of its design, no turbo this, nuclear that, radio active, other, rocket fuelled, fuel injected or otherwise, just a machine that has been taken back to basics. There are just two negative comments from me...first that I didnt buy this years ago, and secondly, my dogs dont like it at all, they think I moved a giant yellow hamster into the house. Top marks to the designers of this product, and if you dont buy one after reading this...I will gladly send you my brush and dustpan....ps..get a supply of really good priced bags from Amazon..search for NVM-ICH Hepa Flo bags...original and top quality and at only 5.57 pounds for a box of ten, they have surely got to be the bargain of the century..they will last me for years.

Sick to death with yet another Dyson(my 2nd!!)losing all suction and cutting out every 5 mins,so I decided a new hoover was what I needed, after days of invetigating,reading reviews and speaking to friends and collegues my Henry was choosen and why did I wait so long! he is fantastic,easy to use,quiet,but most of all he actually cleans my carpets,wooden floors and tiled floors effortlessly.

I too have had two Dysons and have been very disappointed with them. Cutting out and broken plastic components were my main complaint. I decided to give Henry a try. Simple and quiet to operate. Cleans up after my family and pets daily with no trouble at all. Superb little machine.

This is the vacuum to buy for ease and simplicity. Has very good suction but remember to change bags and wash any filters every three months to get the best from this product.

Best Vacuum Cleaner I've Ever Had.

A very reliable vacuum cleaner
