This device is amazing for an dj rookie like me. First when i bought the item i didnt really like it but as soon as you get to grips with it, and play the right genre of music. Ive watched many video reviews on youtube about this Numark ICdj in a box, And many comments were 'its just a cd player'.Although it does not have the scratch feature it is still brilliant for mixing. Id recommend this to any upcoming dj who needs improvement on mixing.

Great For Beginners

I received this product for Christmas and I was ecstatic to start DJing. After playing around with it for a few days, I truly found out that this new package was not too shabby. It's very durable and easy to use, with the added bonus of an iPod dock, where you can record your mixes straight onto your iPod. Since I'm a beginner, having less knobs and buttons really helped me understand the fundamental concepts of Djing. My only problem is that the CD players don't scratch; they only bend the pitch and search through the song. All in all, if you're Djing for the first time, and you want to get started somewhere, this is definitely the setup to begin with.

I really like the mixer it is awesome to dj from one cd to ipod too another cd then back to ipod etc. I really had so much fun with it. The only thing i dont like about the cd players is that it does'nt show you the bpm of your tracks so you have to use your head and count the beats in the song that you are playing but other than that for a beginner like myself this is perfect!

this is one of the best things i have ever ordered. now the shpping though sam ash sucked very bad! it was 5 weeks after cristmas. i ordered it two weeks after christmas so it would get to me on christmas... i got it 5 weeks later though sam ash
