Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Powerball is the world's most powerful hand gyroscope, generating speeds of over 16,000 rpm!

Simply by starting up the Powerball in your hand and rotating your wrist faster you can develop incredible speeds and increase your strength. Powerball is seriously addictive for all ages making it ideal for play, exercise or for fun competitions.

Powerball is a dynamic and completely revolutionary new gyroscope that literally explodes with mind numbing torque and inertia once you activate its internal rotor.

It's about the same size as a tennis ball and weighs just a little more, but take a Powerball in your hand, set that rotor in motion with the cord provided (or use your finger when you get used to it) and you'll experience an extraordinary sensation. Power ball slowly comes alive with gyroscopic force - a sublime yet pleasant resistance to your movement which is transmitted directly into your wrist and arms and which provides soothing, non impact rehabilitation at these lower speeds.

Bring your new Powerball up to 10,000rpm, the forces are now much stronger, much more vibrant. Higher! Take it right up to an unbelievable 15,000rpm at which point it's exerting almost 40lbs of pressure on your limbs and is travelling at nearly 250 revolutions per second.

No batteries, no motor, just pure gyroscopic power

Not suitable for Children Under 14yrs

The Basics 26 April 2010
Colour Name:Blue
Buy it for simple endurance training, if you wish to see how well you go buy Pro Powerball series, they have monitors on top of them, which make them harder to grip but tells you how well your doing.

Its best to play with a regular first, after all you'll get bored of these things eventually - saving your money.

As the title suggests it was difficult to work out how to get the damn thing going. I tugged the string and twisted my wrist with the versatility of a contortionist for about half an hour. I all but gave up hope once I realised that there were no instructions included in the box. I visited the website, read a few paragraphs and had the ball rotating within seconds. I've not put it down much since. My forearms are stronger, as are my fingers. My wrist feels tighter and less fragile than before. All this after just four days.
Bottom line, even if you're sceptical - buy it. You'll love it.

An excellent tool 29 April 2011

This is an excellent tool for gently exercising your arms. The device is a simple gyroscopic mechanism which requires you to spin it by augmenting your strength through your hands. One might assume that this will realistically only affect your hand and wrist, though in fact it does involve the entire of the arm and when used properly at high-speeds hardly any movement is detectable in the arm, in fact one might assume that you are sat perfectly still is it wasn't for the fact that your arm muscles are bulging and the LEDs in the powerball are lit! You won't develop great muscles from using it, though I have found it brilliant for powering-up before going to the gym and lifting weights.

Powerball Time
First I was very skeptic, but when I used it for the first time, I really could feel it work.
It's fun to sit with and it's also challenging to start it with the thumb.
