5.0 out of 5 stars Love It 12 Jun 2013

Where have these boys been hiding. Fantastic easy listening cd I have bought in ages. The harmonies are just brilliant & wouldn't hesitate in recomending to any of my family or friends. The sound of their accoustic guitars is supperb and very similar to the sound that the Everly brothers sounded like back in their early days.

5.0 out of 5 stars This duo just get better and better 15 Dec 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Probably best described as Irish Americana the Losties third album comes replete with their trademark Everley style harmonies and songs rooted in the familiar country-folk tropes of despair, tragedy and ill fated love.
Raconteur Brendan Benson produces sympathetically allowing the songs to breathe effortlessly with occasional flourishes of musical saw and pump organ to spice up the pair's deft fingerpicking.
You can identify their influences Louvin Brothers,Carter Family and others but this talented duo have honed their own distinctive sound and write songs of such sublime beauty and melody worthy of a much wider audience.
They are touring with Glen Hansard in January but deserve to be headlining themselves if only talent was acquainted with commercial success.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend you checking out their music and shows. Their harmonies are gorgeous and their personalities are infectious! 27 Sep 2012

We had the pleasure of seeing The Lost Brothers in Boston. They showcased their musicianship with intricate melodies, powerful vocals, and a harmonica solo or two. Mark McCauseland and Oisin Leech are natural performers and have great energy on stage. They played a bunch of songs from this CD. We had to buy the CD!

Had the pleasure of listening to their music live at the Fillmore, San Francisco recently when they played as part of Glen Hansard's tour. Was blown away. Wonderful lyrics, soulful music and amazing persona on stage too.
