Judging by this track listing this is a very good CD indeed, easily surpassing both NOW 74 and NOW 75. Some great songs are however mysteriously absent like Lady Gaga & Beyoncé's "Telephone" (a travesty that this song isn't on it in my opinion!), JLS' "One Shot", Leona Lewis' "I Got You", Sugababes' "Wear My Kiss", Pixie Lott's "Gravity", Keane's "Stop For A Minute", Katie Melua's "The Flood", Ke$ha's "Love Is My Drug" and possibly others too. On the other hand we get as much as 46 tracks, which I think is a record for any NOW compilation. No artists appear with more than one song each so there is plenty of variety on these couple of discs, and thank goodnees no Glee songs in this edition. I also notice there seems to be more current chart hits than usual on this CD, which is a step in the right direction for this series finally living up to its name.
Highlights for me include "All The Lovers" by Kylie Minogue, "All Night Long" by Alexandra Burke, "California Gurls" by Katy Perry, "Fire With Fire" by The Scissor Sisters, "Alejandro" by Lady Gaga, "Parachute" by Cheryl Cole, "This Ain't A Love Song" by Scouting For Girls, "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" by Alicia Keys and "Te Amo" by Rihanna. They among others will for sure be put on repeated play through the rest of the summer.
I would recommended this CD to everyone who wants to complete their NOW collection with this latest installment, or music fans who wants to own some of the most popular songs from the last 3-4 months. A piece of music history is captured, and I am sure will be cherished for a long time.
