Product Description
Zinc is an essential mineral that plays an important role in many enzymatic functions. Found primarily in the kidneys, liver, pancreas and brain, Zinc also helps support healthy immune system functions and is an important component of bodily antioxidant systems.
Zinc Picolinate is formed by the bonding of Zinc with Picolinic Acid. This special form of Zinc has been used because it is better absorbed than many other forms.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule daily, preferably with meals.
Ingredients:Rice Flour, Gelatin (capsule) and Magnesium Stearate.
Contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg or preservatives.

I have bought a few of these now and think they are good value for money. When taking minerals it is always best to get the picolinate form as they are absorbed much better than other forms. That is why mother's breast milk has picolinic acid in it, to help the infant absorb the minerals. I will be buying more in the future.

50 mg. per capsule is the ideal dose for most men though a bit heavy for women. One of the drawbacks to taking zinc is that they cause digestive upset. Taking them with food helps but I've found that zinc picolinate does not upset my stomach even if I do not eat for hours before or after. Definitely worth trying.

I was browsing for natural acne remedies and happened upon zinc. I did some research for the best kind to take, and Zinc Picolinate was recommended by a couple of websites. I've been taking one a day for 3 weeks and have noticed a large improvement in my acne. I have less, it heals faster and as a result my face looks better than it has in a long time, consistently for 3 weeks. I am very pleased.
