There are so many reasons to take a Magnesium supplement that I confess I can't remember them all today.
I currently prefer to take this NOW brand and in the form of Citrate because its very easily taken up and used by the body.
So what does it do ? It will help with nervousness, heart conditions, High BP, muscle pain, Fibromyalgia, Migraines and IBS.
These are just recommendations. For me this is a constant because I feel better when I take it and worse when I don't. As it helps to calm the nervous system it also can help you to sleep which is why I started taking it, but it's not going to put you to sleep its just going to help you get your system back into balance. I have found magnesium vital in warding off migraines! and helpful with the Fibromyalgia pain. I also find Magnesium does help me to calm down.
