I have used NOW Brand Colloidal Minerals for many years. Without it, I suffer respiratory and sinus complications from allergies and asthma. But when I take a sip of it daily during allergy season, I find that it simply makes me feel "normal"- no troubles with allergies or asthma! What a lifesaver this product has been for me, and for all the family and friends I have told - it really makes a difference.
My doc told me I would need inhalers for the rest of my life,( I don't think so!)
What I needed was a good nutritional foundation to let my body find its way back to balanced health! No more inhalers or meds for me! I can breathe now - in any season!
As a terrific "side" benefit- when I take Colloidal Minerals, my fingernails are long, strong, and lovely~ and that was something I never had~
I know that we aren't getting good minerals from most of our foods these days, and when I give my body these minerals, this supplies the nutritional foundation I need to stay in a healthy balance.
These are the best tasting minerals I have found, and I have tried many brands... This is a REALLY great price, too~~

I started taking colloidal minerals after a cavity left me with a terrible toothache. Dentists wanted to do a root canal, but that didn't make sense to me, so I began researching. I literally bought this one day, and the next, my pain was gone. I also cut out refined items from my diet, began to alkalize, and started taking calcium and vitamin K. I believe all of these things are what saved my root, but mainly I credit the minerals for eradicating my pain almost instantly. It's scary how malnourished we are without even knowing it. I recommend anyone and everyone take colloidal minerals. NOW brand is nice because they claim to screen for the negative heavy metals, whereas other brands I've researched do not make that claim. I have tried both this raspberry flavor and the unflavored one, and both are more than palatable. The unflavored one tastes like lemon-lime, and this raspberry one is delicious without leaving a nasty aftertaste in your mouth.

There are other liquid "trace mineral" supplements on Amazon, but having bought this one for $18 in the store, I find it drinkable, and it is the only one I see on Amazon that says it is assayed for heavy-metal contamination and has been "screened to remove them". I put a capful into Lipton diet green tea and add a bit of Splenda sweetner. It tastes great this way.
The trace minerals are almost completely missing from our food having been washed out of soil treated with nitrogen fertilizer. That's why they are necessary. Communities that live to very old ages are located in Japan where they have them in the water and in Tibet where the minerals are found in glacial melt water. We need to supplement in order to get ours.
