This is a really great product, the brand is well know in the natural world of supplements. I only add this because the other negitive reviews tend to focus on not being able to read the details on the label but that is not "NOW FOODS" issue, it is the way it's identified and described on distributor websites.If you go directly to NOW Foods website(go to nowfoods, then type in chromium picolinate and select the one you need), it is clearly stated as well as you can see that it is a very natural, well made product. Just to break it down, 1 tablet is a serving size and 200mcg per serving(1 tablet). <...>

GOOD DEAL ON A GREAT PRODUCT IN CAPSULE FORM!!

This product is the right form of Chromium [Picolinate] and in capsule form so it is optimally absorbed. The price is excellent, about the same as Wal-Mart, but Walmart's brand is in tablet form. I have always been a big fan of the "Now" brand and AMAZON is one of the few "Now" vendors that carries the larger size bottles and at the best price I have found. The expiration dates are excellent, [leaving 2-3 years] which indicates the product still has a long potential shelf life and has not been sitting in a wearhouse for too long.
If you have any type of digestive system disorder the "PICOLINATE" form is the only way to go because it does not require your pancreas to secrete anything in order for the chromium to be absorbed.

GOOD DEAL ON THE RIGHT FORM OF CHROMIUM AND IN CAPSULES!!
WHAT IT IS:
Chromium is a trace mineral that has been shown to be helpful for [in descending order]; Diabetes, High cholesterol, Hypoglycemia, High triglycerides, Insulin resistance syndrome (Syndrome X), Athletic performance, Depression, Weight loss.
WHY THIS CHROMIUM?
This product is the right form of Chromium [Picolinate] and in capsule form so it is optimally absorbed. The price is excellent, about the same as Wal-Mart, but Walmart's brand is in tablet form. Swanson though usually comes in somewhat less expensive and in the right form and in capsules. ThIS "NOW" brand is just as good, just a little less available and sometimes not as deeply discounted.
