Format:Audio CD
When you look at the tracklisting of this album it doesn't seem to stand out, 'Over the rainbow' and 'Wonderful world' sung by a young female doesn't seem much different than what a lot of artists are doing these days from, eva cassidy to rod stewert to norah jones or diana krall. But this album is far obove the rest i've just mentioned, even if you love Eva Cassidy's version on Wonderful world the Innocence mission's version serves a completly different purpose, the lead singers vocals are magically throw away and effortless, the production is simple and perfect. All the songs are your favourite songs put together on an album and what i love most about it is that when I listen to the album it feels like I'm six again and my mum is putting me to sleep singing the greatests songs in the last 100 years. For those of us who are a little more cool than that, this album would also be a great accompaniment to a dinner party, a bath or a smoke with friends.

I love the innocence mission and i believe they make some awesome music, but this album disappointed me. I don;t like the tracks chosen and the music is nothing compared to albums such as glow and befriended.

I bought this album chiefly for "Now the day is over" - a favourite of my grandson, but not only was this not to the tune we always know and love, but the rest of the album is bland, even for a toddler, and as a musician myself, I find it lacking in evoking any emotion.
