Format:Audio CD
The supposed "Now Dance" compilations are often filled with music which does not quite fit under the genre of dance. It is in fact a typical now album with some random filler dance tracks and some okish dance remixs of chart songs.
CD 1 is the most dancy of the two on this compilation including the fantastic "Basement Jaxx - Red Alert", "Paul Johnson - Get get down", and "Inner City - Good life". However it is let down by the random tracks that I have certainly never heard of "big time charlie - on thge run" or "cassius - cassius 1999"
CD2 is where the dance factor severly veers off course and goes completely into chart relms for at least the first half of the cd. Vengaboys _ Boom boom boom & S Club bring it all back seem completely out of place. And they include a dreadful remix of "Mi Chico Latino". However once all the pop is out of the way they do well by including the fantastic "Saltwater", "Synth & Strings" and "Bullet in the gun" to finish you off.
All in all it is an average compilation with a dancy edge. If you are after dance music you would be much better off finding a MoS compiliation from the era, and you could probably find the same songs on another album without quite so many fillers.

It's oookaaay, but some of the tracks - eg, Sometimes, Bring it all back and Say it again are just there to make up the numbers, but then again what's the fast-forward button on a cd player for?! But there are some good tracks like Protect your mind (for the love of a princess), and I think that anybody who can't resist dancing (or even just jumping around and looking stupid) to LCD's "Zorba's dance" is in serious need of medical attention! Overall, a fairly good compilation, but it *is* let down a bit by the space-wasting Vengaboys and SClub7. Never mind.

Not exactly what you would call 'dance' music on this CD, it is quite a good selection of some of the more uplifting tracks of 1999 although there are a few tracks that pull the compilation down. Could be better, but worth the three stars I have awarded it!

A good mix
I thought that it was a good cd and had many great songs on there. Though some were not my kind of music and I didn't think they were dance music.

Alright!
Although i only like about 15 of the songs, there is a good mix of what has been in the charts recently, and it would be a good one for youngsters this Christmas and New Year.

Excellent dance album.
this cd is packed full of great songs. admittadly, some songs are on there to make up the numbers. great dance album, just like the usaul now mix albums.

poorly chosen songs
this cd has about 5 good songs out of 44! and it is not really worth the money if you are expecting good dance music don't go for this, some of the songs on this i would not call... Read more
