Product Description

Dr Frank Sangster (Steve Martin) is a dentist with a successful practice, a luxurious home and a beautiful girlfriend (Laura Dern). STEVE MARTIN IS HILARIOUS IN THIS COMICAL DRAMA IN AN UNUSUAL ROLE AS A DENTIST WHO FALLS IN LOVE WITH A LOVELY DRUG ADDICT IMPRESSIVELY PLAYED BY HELENA BONHAM CARTER.MARTIN IS COMFORTABLE IN A DIFFICULT ROLE, WHERE HE HAS TO BE SERIOUS AT TIMES AND HIS MORE KNOWN FUNNY SIDE ON OTHER OCCASIONS.CARTER IS UTTERLY HYSTERICAL AS THE PATIENT IN DESPERATE NEED OF DRUGS BUT SHE IS ALSO INCREDIBLY SEXY AND DESIRABLE TRYING TO SUCCEED.NO NEED FOR MORE ON THE PLOT WHICH HAS MANY TURNINGS AND SURPRISES,NOTABLY AT THE END.DERN AND KOTEAS ARE GOOD IN THEIR SUPPORTING ROLES,THE PICTURE CLARITY IS SATISFYING AS IS THE SOUND.COULD DO WITH A FEW EXTRAS.THUMBS UP!
