5.0 out of 5 stars Genius!, 29 Jun 2007
I already love this band and they have now taken it to a new level. Hats of to them for keeping their ideas fresh whilst still keeping the underlying sound of Reuben we have come to cherish. Great diversity here, with "We're all going home in an ambulance" and "Agony / Agatha" my particular favourites so far. Being completely absorbed by the first play has got to be a great sign. Can't wait to see them at the Mean Fiddler in the autum.

5.0 out of 5 stars One word........................Awsome!, 8 Aug 2007
If you are a fan of Reuben and have enjoyed their previous albums, then "in nothing we trust" will blow you away. The lyrics are a stroke of genius as always and the shifts in the tempos especially in we're all going home in an ambulance make this album something special. This album will blow your mind! The best ones on the album? It's hard to say as they all offer something totally unique, from raw chords to beautiful harmonies. A brilliant album from an awsome band!

5.0 out of 5 stars In Reuben We Trust, 4 Aug 2007
This album deserves to put Reuben on the map. From The Epic opener "Cities On Fire" to the progressive "A Short History Of Nearly Everything" this album is nothing short of amazing. Jamie's voice sounds outstanding wherher he's screaming his balls off as in "We're All Going Home In An Ambulence" or singing softly like in "Good Luck". For a wee guy, Guy sure can drum, and in this album he excellces himself. Jon helps keep the rythmn section tight with his distorted bass and also has some awesome riffs. The guitar playing is also amazing with a mixture of insane metal riffs and beautifully strummed acoustic guitar. This is definitely the heaviest most progressive Reuben album yet, but the poppier songs are still there too - "Deadly Leathal Ninja Assasin". A Must for anyone who considers themselves a rock fan.
