This is a fantastic record. No doubt about it. Became aware of this band via the "Truth or Dare" single which was a free download on here a little while ago. Anyone who heard the song loved it straight away. "Nothing to Do" proves to be an addictive cocktail of wild and raw fun punk with a slight nod towards early sixties surf rock (especially on "Truth or Dare", which is not on this album, but worth adding to your downloads). If you're old enough to remember the Violent Femmes, then yes, you'd say that these might have been of influence here, or - consciously or not - the Buzzcocks, early Gun Club and even a bit of Pixies, but just as well one can say that the whole "in the line of" thing is completely irrelevant, that this album just represents what these lads are all about and nothing more, everything seems so immediate, fresh, fun, genuine and done without contrived deliberation ... which is a good thing.
