Product Description

Cashel Godfrey is big, tattooed, and angry, so people typically keep their distance. Fresh out of the police academy no one is looking to partner with the six foot four beast. When Cashel scanned the orientation room, he wasn’t expecting sexy hazel eyes to be locked onto him. Eyes of the gorgeous Leonidis Day.

Leonidis is charming, witty, hilariously sarcastic, and the only one that can make Cashel smile. He’s an out and badass detective, but when Cashel saves his life in a raid that turns deadly, he sees something in the big man that no one else does…something special.

Warning: Two sexy narcotics detectives. One with a serious hot spot for big gun-toting men, the other that yields a cannon; so be ready for the obscene sexual bang when these two come together.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad 26 Mar 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I know that it shouldn't make a difference to the story in general but bad proofreading really spoils a story, I can ignore the odd typo but when the wrong word is used not just once it drives me mad and detracts from the storytelling eg the two MCs kept getting 'accomodations' for their good work (maybe I'm mistaken perhaps the police get new houses when they solve a case), this is just one example. Anyway, the story was interesting and the theme of abuse was handled well but it still could have been done so much better, the characters were just not rounded out enough and not given enough depth. If a bit more thought had gone into this it could have been so much better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Why go & ruin a good story?! 10 April 2014
By A.Non
Format:Kindle Edition
I loved the characters - God & Day are a perfect match and over the course of the plot you can see why. The depth of affection they have for each other is obvious as well as their mutual respect. The plot has action, humour, emotion and of course hot lovin'!
However two things really bothered me; firstly the idealistic magical precinct they all work in where everybody is remarkably unfazed by sexual orientation; secondly the menage for the last part of the story. In my view it was entirely unrealistic and unnecessary. The possessiveness of the lead characters for each other was part of their appeal. To then have ridiculous menage orgy thing at the end, with characters that had been unlikeable throughout, simply ruined what was a beautiful, emotive story. It just did not fit. For me, the author tried to jazz it up and add an unnecessary twist, who knows to what purpose - to disappoint readers, not challenge.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great book until 83% 24 Mar 2014

It was a totally great read up to this point. In fact it was really good and I wished it would have finished there. Yes the plot is a bit far fetched it places but I bought in to their friends to lovers forever relationship and their dialogue is hilarious at times.

But then I was very disappointed with where the author took their relationship. It undermined it all and spoilt it and to be honest; it felt out of the blue and didn't fit how they were together. At the beginning is all 'mine mine mine' and 'i won't share you', 'im all yours' then literally a couple of weeks later it's a complete turnaround. If I'd known it was to end in a couple sharing set up on a regular basis, I wouldn't have read it. A shame, ruined it for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book 3 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
loved this story, Day and God are two funny sarcastic detectives who get the job done. God has a sad secret which Day stumbles onto. God's past was heart breaking but the love of a good man will help him through it. Loved the sparring with Johnson and Ronowski and the hot bedroom scenes. Don't know what the problem was with other reviewers and the foursome but you could it coming - pun intended - a mile off. Will read more by Via, love the romance with the thriller bit, hope you enjoy it as much as i did,

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! 23 Mar 2014

What a great book. I couldn't put it down! God and Day are so right for eachother. It's not all roses and candlelight but they overcome their problems, together and separately, to more than get their happy ever after. The witty remarks and banter made me laugh out loud and even my partner found some of them funny (even though he doesn't read my kind of books!). This is a keeper.
