Again Plass has managed to demonstrate his ability to show that our God is a God of love in such an unusual way. Telling stories and at the same time the truth sneaks in. Many short stories which show God is in control even when we don't think he is. Worth every cent!

I have enjoyed the lighter Plass material over the years,(Sacred Diary / Andromeda Vale / etc) and this little book contains some funny short pieces, but it is the more serious stories that really pack a punch for me. Short stories such as "The Second Pint" and "The Final Boundary" are some of Plass' best work I think. They are uncompromising and refuse to go soft and just play to a Christian audience, as so much Christian fiction seems to. Gutsy authentic stuff.
This book seems to be a collection from a couple of earlier editions put together in the one binding. (Good value!)
Adrian Plass is getting better at his craft as the years go on..... but this collection of some older material is an essential addition to any Plass collection.
Highly recommended.
