These books bring such incredible wisdom that I just can't believe I haven't read them until now! How has this Light been hidden? Shri Atmananda is, in the opinion of many, including this reviewer, the third star to comprise a virtual constellation of Advaita Vedanta that arose from India in the 20th Century. He joins Sri Ramana Maharshi and Sri Nigargadatta Maharaj. He is another astonishing example of Pure Wisdom in a human body.
Thank you, Dennis Waite and Greg Goode for bringing Shri Atmananda to my attention. And THANK YOU, Non-Duality Press for bringing us these wonderful paperbacks at such affordable prices! Most of Atmananda's books are strangely out of print and very expensive to purchase on the secondary market. Truly I am grateful for this offering. Truly I am amazed at its content.
These "notes" of Atmananda's talks were taken by Nitya Tripta, a faithful follower and a bright light himself, to have delivered these almost 1,500 gems unto the world. Imagine sitting in on 1,500 satsangs by a true Master! Nitya Tripta sat at the feet of his master and took brilliant, piercing notes that EXPLODE their way into the mind.
My only warning here is that this is NOT early-learning material. This is advanced spirituality that takes a lot for granted on the part of the reader. Of course that's just my opinion; I could be wrong, and I may be just especially dumb when it comes to these matters. I only say it out of kindness; do NOT let that or anything else discourage you from buying these books. They are WONDERFUL!!
